While I originally conceived of Exerstriding as simply a convenient total body exercise form, it has (much to my delight) a special meaning for many people for many different reasons. People for whom the ability to function normally and the ability to continue to exercise is slipping away seem to be very willing to try something new if it might possibly enable them to lead a more normal or active life. Many of these people have in turn introduced their doctors and other health care providers to Exerstriding. Now, many doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, personal trainers, and other health care professionals are becoming aware of the many possible applications of Exerstriding and are recommending my poles and techniques (or adapted techniques) to many of their patients.
The following are just a few of the special uses that people have taken the time to write or call to tell me about.
